Calgary Society for Persons with Disabilities

Incorporated in 1974, the Calgary Society for Persons with Disabilities, or CSPD, is a not-for-profit organization that is managed by a board of directors and provides residential assisted-living services to disabled clients in and around the greater Calgary area.

UFCW 401 represents both full-time and part-time residential support workers at CSPD. These employees provide individualized care and support for the organization’s approximately 50 clients, who are persons born with various development disabilities, including autism, Down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy.
