Health and Safety Committee

The purpose of the UFCW Local 401 Health and Safety Committee is to promote activities that involve workers in health and safety matters that will improve working conditions and worker well-being.

Whether it is a blocked fire exit, excessive noise levels, or dangerously high or low temperatures, our members can find themselves confronted with an unhealthy or unsafe workplace. If you are injured at work or develop an illness or disease because of your work, your union is here to help you.
