Cargill originally began its long history in 1928 primarily in grain. They shifted to beef processing in the ’80’s and was the first beef processing facility in Canada at the time. It takes thousands of workers to ensure their world class product reaches homes around the globe. With more than 2000 401 members processing 4500 cattle per day at the High River facility, meat lovers across Canada enjoy some of the finest product available.
