Our members at Compass provide meal services in Alberta’s provincial correction facilities. Complicated diets and preferences make for a unique serving environment for the workers. They also provide “canteen services” for inmates who are able to purchase snacks and magazines.
UFCW members also work along side inmates who participate in rehabilitation programs in the kitchen, preparing meals and learning food safety regulations.
