Red Lobster

Originally opening in Florida in 1968, Red Lobster opened its first restaurant in Canada in 1983. Starting off in Ontario, Red Lobster grew in popularity and spread out across the country. Currently there are two locations in Alberta, both in Edmonton, with one of those being unionized in the west end.

Members at this location make and serve quality, sustainable seafood delights to hungry patrons. UFCW 401 members at this Edmonton location are made up of hosts, servers, bartenders, and cooks. After successfully voting to join the union in 2018, they officially became part of the 401 family in 2021 after ratifying their first Collective Agreement.
