Carol Prouxl – Retirement

After 40 years working in both Bakery and Produce at Safeway, Carol is excited to begin her hard-earned retirement. During those 40 years she also served her fellow co-workers, for a time, as Shop Steward and as a picket captain during the 1997 75-day strike! She tells us that she really enjoyed meeting lots of people throughout the years, and is grateful for having made new friends through Safeway.

In retirement, Carol will now have more time to spend with her loved ones, including her grandchildren. She also looks forward to spending more time in the garden and going camping with those loved ones.

Congratulations, Carol! We are thrilled for you and we thank you for your service to your co-workers through the years and wish you the very best in a long, happy, and healthy retirement.
