Dean Marchand – Retirement

After 41 years in various areas of various Safeway stores in Medicine Hat, Dean tells us that he’s looking forward to his hair growing back now that he’ll no longer be pulling it out!

In addition to spending time with his wife, Kim, and his two children and four grandchildren, he is also very much looking forward to getting on his Honda Goldwing and taking in the sights and smells and fresh air of the beautiful countryside.

Though he will miss his coworkers, Dean tells us that he’s excited about “social distancing from work” and getting to his “honey-do” list. His plans also include keeping busy with Shoto-Kan Karate and instructing others how to ride motorbike.

Sounds like Dean has his hands full and possesses plenty of good humour to lead him into retirement. Congratulations, Dean. We wish you a long, happy and healthy, retirement.
