Debbie Burnett – Retirement

Having started at Canada Safeway in 1996, Debbie is excited to enter a well-earned retirement.

During her time at Safeway, Debbie worked in the floral department and also spent some time volunteering as Chair of Safeway’s Because We Care program.

In the coming months she’s thinking of picking up an old hobby – quilting. And once life returns to normal, she plans to get back to travelling and spending time keeping active with aquasize at her local swimming pool. She also plans to keep busy until then in her garden, enjoying her book club, and visit with her mom more often.

Debbie, your plans sound amazing and we are thrilled for you and your new chapter. May you have a long, healthy, and happy retirement, sister.
