Denyse Anderson – Retirement

After 35 years at Safeway working as a meat wrapper, Denyse is looking forward to her well-earned retirement.

She will be missed. Over the years, Denyse stepped up to be active and participate in both the union’s negotiating committee as well as spending time serving on the Local’s women’s committee. Her contributions were greatly appreciated and her coworkers all benefited from her involvement.

When asked what her plans are in retirement, she tells us she will spend more time with her grandkids, travelling, and exploring many new adventures. She’s also excited to take more time to indulge in some of her hobbies, like sewing, cooking, and needlework.
