George Theofan – Retirement

George has seen many things in his 43 years at Safeway in the meat department and as an active member of his union. Over the years he attended numerous union meetings and polling stations, and he also walked his picket line back in the day.

Now that he’ll have time on his hands, he looks forward to relaxing with activities like fishing, travelling, golf, welding, and of course, spending time with his grandchildren.

Congratulations, George. We are thrilled for your new chapter and thank you for your care and concern over the years for your coworkers in your union.
