Georgina Ostopowich – Retirement

We bid a fond farewell to Georgina, who is retiring after 20 years at Safeway as a Courtesy Clerk.

She plans to focus on her health, spend time with her daughter, volunteer at her church, read, do some gardening, and make cabbage rolls! Please know that we are excellent taste testers, Georgina!

“I would like to thank [Union Representatives] Larry Zima, Cheryl Watamaniuk, and Shauna Robertson for all their help through the years. Larry has been my earth angel,” she fondly shares.

You are a kind soul, Georgina, and we are grateful for your membership all these years. Being a Courtesy Clerk is a very challenging job and one that is integral to the smooth operation of the stores and we know you will be missed by co-workers and customers alike, along with your union reps.

Congratulations on your well-earned retirement. May it be long, happy, and filled with health.
