Israel Simeon – Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that Israel Simeon has won a 2020 UFCW Local 401 Grant Notley Memorial Scholarship. Studying accounting and finance at the University of Alberta’s School of Business, Israel is working towards becoming an accountant. In the long term, he would like to run a business of his own one day. An avid volunteer, Israel was Teen Volunteer of the Year in 2016.

With COVID-19, he continues to work as best he can to be involved in his community.

Israel’s father is a member of UFCW Local 401 working for Civeo.
