Jimmy Pui – Retirement

Longtime union and community activist, Jimmy, is looking forward to retirement after 16 years working the nightshift in shipping at McKesson Canada.

During the 66 day strike back in 2010, Jimmy proudly walked his picket line in solidarity with his coworkers. He wasn’t only an active member within UFCW 401, he also served as Treasurer for his CAW Local (now Unifor) at a previous job. No stranger to activism, he is proud to say he has been a union man all throughout his working years.

Now that he’ll have time to himself and be able to make his own schedule, Jimmy will be pursuing hobbies like Chinese and English chess.

Not one to stay idle, he also looks forward to playing indoor badminton, basketball, soccer, rugby, and endurance running. We wonder if you’ll have to get a break by coming back to work, Jimmy!

We are proud to call Jimmy “brother” and we wish him the very best in all his retirement adventures. Congratulations!
