Louise Watson – Retirement

Louise started with Safeway September 1993 and after nearly 22 years began her journey into retirement in July 2015.

Louise was a long time Shop Steward and union activist, taking numerous education courses and attending conferences and conventions.  She enjoyed assisting her coworkers with day to day questions, including the more involved workplace concerns that can pop up from time to time.

Louise has 3 children and 7 grandchildren and is looking forward to traveling with them throughout Alberta.  She is also having fun planning a trip to Europe in the near future.

Louise says she will miss her involvement in the union, the friendships she developed over the years, and looks forward to visiting the new office to catch up from time to time.
