Robert Carlson – Retirement

Having worked at Safeway for the last 51 years in many different areas of the store (grocery, produce, dairy, and floral), Robert has more than earned a wonderful and restful retirement. However, he shared some of his plans with us and we wonder when he’ll have to time to rest!

Robert tells us he plans on spending time with family, travelling, getting his hands into the soil in his garden, biking, hiking, and dancing. All of these sound like great pursuits. We are thrilled that after more than a half century serving his community’s day-to-day needs for staples that he’ll focusing on him and his loved ones now.
