Shayne Christiansen – Scholarship

We are sending a big “congratulations” to Shayne for winning one of our annual Grant Notley Memorial Scholarships.

Though he works at Superstore now, Shayne recalls walking the picket line several years ago when he worked at Sobeys Forest Lawn and has chosen to remain a 401 member.

Attending Athabasca University, Shayne is pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce degree with an Accounting major and Finance Concentration.  He is also hopeful to work with the NHL one day and plans to get his masters in Business Administration in order to serve that goal.

You have lofty goals and we are thrilled to be able to assist in some small way with your education debt.  Good luck and we’ll see you in the big leagues, Shayne!
