Aramark Bethany: Early Progress in Bargaining

Your bargaining committee met with the employer for our initial proposal exchange on September 28 and 29 at the union office in Red Deer.

The full union ingoing proposals are available to download below. The employer did not provide proposals, preferring to respond to the union’s proposals.

The meetings were positive, and the employer agreed to the vast majority of our non-monetary proposals. The agreed to proposals are also included below. Please note that none of the modified contract language is in place until the entire agreement is ratified at the end of bargaining.

Monetary bargaining will start in November, with meetings scheduled on Nov. 9^th and 10^th at the union office. Any UFCW 401 member is welcome to attend bargaining as an observer as part of the union’s commitment to open and transparent bargaining.
