CARGILL CASE READY: SEND A MESSAGE & VOTE YES!

Strike votes start Wednesday, June 5th at the Holiday Inn & Suites Calgary Airport North, 20 Freeport PIace NE, Calgary, AB from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. They will continue Thursday, June 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the same address.

It is important that the memberships stand together and tell Cargill they need to improve their offer for all workers.

We have heard rumours that Cargill is telling Flex workers they cannot participate in the strike votes. Nothing could be further from the truth. Flex workers have the right to vote and should vote to show their solidarity by Voting Yes. We have had the company agree to this language regarding the flex workers:

“Current flexible employees will be converted to full-time regular employees and enrolled in Benefits”

If you have not received a Strike Handbook, you can find one at this link.

In solidarity,
