Core-Mark employees in Edmonton and Calgary have ratified their new Union Contract, achieved through mediation by 93% and 85% respectively!
Apart from basic housekeeping changes, highlights of the four (4) year deal [three (3) years going forward] include improved minimum pay guarantees, improvements to route bidding for drivers, safety boot improvements, improved vacations and pay, increases to sick pay, increases to several different premiums and substantial wage increases in each year of the four (4) deal, including retroactive pay ($2.70 over the term of the contract).
