Gateway Casinos Votes YES on New Union Contract

UFCW Local 401 is happy to announce employees of Gateway Casinos in Edmonton have voted to accept their new Union Contract!

Union members at the Baccarat and Palace Casinos in Edmonton, which are owned and operated by Gateway, have voted to ratify their newly negotiated contract to improve their wages and working conditions.

Employees at the Baccarat Casino voted 86% in favour of the contract and 75% in favour at the Palace Casino.

Congratulations to the union Bargaining Committees for their hard work and dedication throughout these negotiations, and for their excellent work in mobilizing fellow workers to come out and vote, this was reflected in the strong voter turnout. Finally, we congratulate all union members on their new contract – you did it!
