Red Deer Co-op: Vote -Short-Term Disability

The Employer has put forth a Letter of Understanding to introduce Short-Term Disability to your benefit plan.

If the membership accepts this, there could be a minimal increase in the amount you pay for your benefits. For example, if you are at top seniority/rate, the cost to you may be approximately $0.50 more per week; for others, there may be no change.

If you were hired before November 27, 2022, there will be no change to the sick time bank; for those eligible, it will remain at a max of four hundred hours accrued as per the CBA.

For employees hired after November 27, 2022, the maximum bank will be one hundred and twenty hours (120) hours.

The vote for this offer will be:

Tuesday, October 18, 2022,
from 10 am – 12 pm & 4 pm to 6 pm
in the main lunchroom at the
Central Alberta Deer Park Co-op.

All Union members from that Main store, the Central Alberta Deer Park Co-op pharmacy and The Central Alberta Co-op Downtown Pharmacy are eligible to vote.
