Sobeys Edmonton Warehouse Proposal Meetings
Are you concerned about workplace issues like wages, benefits, health and safety, etc.? We are, too!
We are entering into union contract negotiations with Sobeys for the Edmonton warehouse employees, and we need to hear from you! Join us to discuss changes you would like to make in your collective agreement (union contract).
A committee of Sobeys Warehouse union members and union staff will assemble input from these discussions to bring together all the employees’ concerns and ideas to set priorities for negotiations with the company.
Now is the time to step up with what you would like to achieve in negotiations. We want to hear what you want to do to negotiate a deal that will make the changes you need!
When union members get interested and engaged in bargaining, they make a real difference.
We are holding proposal meetings:
- In-person at 9 am and 5 pm, May 9, at your UFCW Local 401 office (14040 128 Ave., Edmonton). Space is limited, so book your spot in advance with Matt Gilks (contact info below), 1st come, 1st serve!; and
