Sobeys RSC votes to ratify contract

UFCW Local 401 is pleased to announce employees of the Sobeys Retail Support Centre in Edmonton have voted to accept their new Union Contract.

After a very difficult round of bargaining, Sobeys Retail Support Centre members who supply grocery, produce, frozen food and non-food products to all of the Sobeys stores in northern Alberta, ratified a new agreement by 89%.

Congratulations to the union Bargaining Committee for their hard work and dedication throughout these challenging negotiations and for their tremendous effort in rallying fellow workers to come out and vote.
