401 Members Win in “Stay Connected” Contest!

UFCW 401’s Senior Labour Relations Officer Larry Zima recently held a wildly successful contest for some of his members.

The Stay Connected Stay Informed contest was run in Larry’s five Safeway stores where members had the opportunity to fill out their contact information and be entered into a draw for a Visa Gift Card. Shop Stewards and members took on the contest and people were excited to enter for the chance to win. The winners for the $25.00 Visa Gift card were drawn and they are;

Jade Kelley – Hinton – Front End

Morgan Wegernoski – Stony Plain – Starbucks

Paula Vandal – Spruce grove – Front End

Wilhemina Shupena – Westmount – General Clerk

Diem Le – Northgate – Front End

But there was one larger prize and out of all the entries received, one name was drawn for a $100.00 Visa Gift Card. Congratulations to Sue Wideman, a 22 year 401 member who is a cake decorator from the Stony Plain store.
