Apply NOW for the UFCW Canada Migrant Workers Scholarship

Did you come to Canada as a temporary worker? Do you have a family member in school back home? At UFCW Canada, we believe Education Has No Borders, and that is why we have expanded our scholarship program to empower the families of temporary workers in Canada.

In 2015, the UFCW Canada Migrant Workers Scholarship Program will award 20 scholarships of $500 each to the children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, or nephews of migrant workers in Canada. These scholarships will assist students with educational costs and UFCW Local 401 members are eligible to apply.

Scholarship nominees may be of any nationality and do not have to reside in Canada. Scholarship applications may be accessed in six languages, including French, Spanish, Chinese, Thai, and Pilipino. For more information and to apply online go to www.ufcw.ca/migrantscholarships.

The deadline to apply for the UFCW Canada Migrant Workers Scholarship is December 31, 2015.
