At an elected level women are under-represented in politics. In Edmonton only one of the thirteen elected city officials on council are women. As well as struggling with representation, women are treated very differently with the political sphere and we will discuss the challenges for women in politics and how we might be able to improve our prospects for the future. Join the conversation at this free panel discussion on women in the political sphere and their experiences as elected women and how the perception on the way they are perceived by the public.
