Congratulations to the Drivers of Alsco!

The drivers of Alsco working in Edmonton, Grande Prairie, and Red Deer have applied to be a part of UFCW Local 401 on Friday, December 10.  

We are all hoping they become the newest addition to our 32,000 membership. UFCW Local 401 expects to have a good relationship with Alsco to get a fair collective agreement. With Alsco Unionized in many other provinces, the employer should understand negotiations, so we expect it will be a speedy process.  

The exceptionally dedicated drivers at Alsco push through all obstacles throughout northern Alberta and Fort St.John to deliver heavy-duty industrial workwear, uniforms, restaurant and hospital linens, nonslip floor mats, other floor care products and washroom and first-aid supplies to their customers.
