Labour Day Activities in Calgary – Let’s Celebrate Together!

Are you going to find yourself in the Calgary area this Labour Day weekend? Come on out and join us at two fun and fabulous events being sponsored by the Calgary & District Labour Council (CDLC).

It’s the last official long weekend of the summer AND it’s our weekend to celebrate ourselves as working people.

FREE BBQ:
The 7th annual CDLC Labour Day BBQ is a lot of fun and it’s FREE!  Many unions, including UFCW 401, get involved every year to help supply food and drinks and other treats to ensure your whole family will leave with a full tummy and a smile on your faces.  There are fun activities for the whole family and it’s a great place to enjoy the last day of the long weekend.

The Labour Day BBQ casts a light on the ongoing fight to improve the lives of workers and highlight the issues relating to the under employed and those living in poverty.
