Members Update: Athabasca Lodge To Open Soon

UFCW Local 401 has learned that the Athabasca BREL site owned by PTI Group will open soon and is in the process of recalling staff.

At time of writing, the official opening date of the camp and the total number of staff to be recalled by the company is still unknown.

However, what is currently known is that PTI Group will recall ten staff, five kitchen workers and five housekeeping retail workers, for March 8, 2015. It is believed the recall of said workers is a ramp up for the soon to be open date.
