Sofina Foods Leadership Course a Big Success!
Shop Stewards and Member Leaders from Sofina Foods in Edmonton recently participated in a leadership course put on by their union. There was plenty of conversation, a great exchange of ideas, and more than a few giggles – it can’t be all work and no play after all!
Shop Stewards and activists know very well that a workplace can be full of very interesting and diverse people, and with that can bring very interesting and diverse issues as well. Participants discussed strategies on how to bring people together, and work toward common goals to ensure solidarity in the workplace. When workers fight together, instead of with each other, they can achieve great things.
This is a wonderful group of activists who were clearly up for any challenge and any discussion. The day was indeed an inspiring and lively one for all involved – participants and facilitators.
