Year after year Edmonton’s Pride festival has progressively become one of our city’s most exhilarating celebrations!!!
Last year there were more than seventy floats in the parade and tens of thousands of spectators who participated in a fantastic day of fun, music, and laughter!
The sounds, smells, and colours are spectacular to behold!
And where do 401 members fit in, you ask?
Well, we want to see you all there! BUT, we also need fabulously fantastic 401ers to help us have some fun getting ready for Pride parade, which happens Saturday June 10th starting at 11 a.m. To walk with us in the Parade you will need to register before 10 a.m. and meet us at the staging area on 80th Avenue between 109 Street and 108 Street. Look for the UFCW401 yellow float and you will find us! (Contact Saba below with any questions)
That’s just the parade; the whole Pride Week Festival is packed with really cool events and fun from June 9th to the 18th!
The theme this year is “One Pride, Many Voices” and we hope you come and celebrate our diversity.
We will need lots of help!
