UFCW Local 401 Members Leading the Way Towards Engagement and FUN!

Member Engagement Focus Day!!

As part of UFCW Local 401’s vision to educate, communicate, and connect with union members, staff and member leaders recently met in Red Deer, Alberta for a day dedicated to reaching out to other UFCW 401 members.

Union staff and members worked on ideas for events to bring back into their workplaces in the upcoming months. At these events, members can receive information and have a little fun!!!

There were exciting events discussed like Lunch and Learns, BBQs, workplace campaigns and member fun days!!! There were also many productive conversations about education and communications, and ways to improve on the efficiency of these services for members.

Local 401 members are stepping up and reaching out!! As part of President Doug O’Halloran’s vision that was implemented back in March, the Local will continue to promote member involvement, education, and engagement events!!

Thank you to all the staff and members for taking the lead as ambassadors of member engagement!! It was a great day for all and all are excited to see the coming engagements in the workplaces!!
