Voting on Superstore’s final offer online

We wrapped up in-person voting on the Company’s final offer last night. If you didn’t get a chance to vote in person on whether to go on strike or settle there is still a chance to make your voice heard!

Online voting will start at 12:01 AM tonight and be available to those Superstore and Liquorstore union members who did not vote in person until 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 30.

To help facilitate the online voting process, we have contracted a company called Converso that has expertise in online voting. Converso will have sent you an email with all of the information you need in order to vote online, including a unique Elector ID and a password that must be used together. This will help ensure that online voters only get the chance to vote once.

Please note that there are often issues with the email containing this information being blocked from Hotmail accounts. This is an issue with Hotmail and not something that Converso can address.

If you have a Hotmail email account, it is strongly advised that you set up a Gmail account for the purposes of participating in this vote and send that email address in to your union at ufcw@ufcw401.ab.ca.

If you have any questions about voting online or run into any other issues, you can email support@converso.co for assistance.

Online voting will be your last chance to make your voice heard on the important decision around whether to go on strike or settle and accept the Company’s final offer. So please take the time to cast your ballot!
