Anne Reimer – Retirement

After an amazing 39 year career at Safeway, Anne is entering retirement and we could not be more proud to have had her as a member over all these years.

Anne has been a head cashier in Brooks and Medicine Hat, as well as working in File Maintenance and HABA and stepping in as a General Clerk in both Grocery and Produce, though most of her time at Safeway has been in the front of the store as a Cashier.

But as you can well imagine, we are most proud of her 15 years she spent serving the interests of her coworkers in the role of Shop Steward.  Thank you , Anne.

Among her plans during her retirement, Anne plans on reconnecting with extended family across the country, walking her dogs (that is if they remember how, as Anne points out), doing some volunteer work, and spending time in her garden.  One of her goals is to also catch a Blue Jays game next year.

Anne, we wish you a wonderful, happy, and healthy retirement.  Don’t be a stranger!
