Chelsea Goulet – Scholarship

Central Alberta Co-op worker since 2012, Chelsea Goulet is one of the amazing 401 members to receive the Grant Notley Memorial Scholarship this year.  She is no stranger to union pride and it seems to run in her family.  Her mother, Shelley-Anne, also works with her and is a Shop Steward as well!

Chelsea is attending Red Deer College at the moment and is planning on attending university to work toward getting her music diploma.  She is currently involved in several bands as well as the Red Deer College’s Symphonic Winds.  She displays passion and proficiency in several instruments: piano, alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, and the clarinet.

In her spare time she volunteers at the Youth and Volunteer Centre with the Boys and Girls Club’s after school program.  In the summer she works at Camp Alexo as a camp counsellor for youth, ages 6-17.

Congratulations, Chelsea.  We wish you many years of beautiful music in your world and all those you touch with that music.
