Having worked at Safeway for 26 years, Effie was more than ready and able to help out her customers and her coworkers wherever she was needed. She worked as a cashier but also spent time helping people in her community in customer service, file maintenance, and as an SCO.
“Since I do have another job as a unit clerk at the Stony Plain hospital, my retirement from Safeway will just free up some more time to spend with family and friends,” she tells us.
Effie also plans on spending more time doing church activities and looks forward to getting back to travelling once she feels safe to do so. In the meantime, with summer just around the corner, she will often be found in the garden.
We wish you all the best, Effie. Thank you for your membership over all these years.
