John Belcourt – Retirement

Having served his community working in the Safeway meat department for nearly 40 years, and serving his coworkers as a picket captain during the 75 day Safeway strike in 1997, John is happy to be able to focus on his health and having the best retirement he can.

He suffered a workplace injury and tells us he wants to focus on getting better first so that he can enjoy his retirement to the fullest with his wife. His plans will also involve playing his guitar and playing golf again once he’s healed up.

Congratulations, John. We are hoping for a very speedy recovery and wish you a beautiful retirement with your sweetheart.
