Tannistha Maiti – Scholarship

Tannistha is the wife of 401 member and former scholarship winner himself, Enaiyat Ghani Ovy.  Tannistha decided to apply for one of the Grant Notley Memorial Scholarships this year and won!

Planning to pursue a PhD in geophysics, Tannistha hopes to work with young girls in impoverished communities through charitable organizations and instilling in them the desire to give back to the local community themselves.

She is also active in her Students’ Union and when not immersed in her studies or related school activities, Tannistha is an artist who often showcases her work at public venues.
