Discussions Continue: The Road Ahead at Cavendish Farms

Your Union Bargaining Committee met with the Company on October 20th- 22nd, 2026, to continue negotiations. We are pleased to report that discussions with management have been productive and open at both the plant and corporate levels.

To date, we have reached tentative agreements on a significant number of non-monetary items. We expect to move into talking about money during our next round of bargaining. Please remember that all tentative agreements are subject to membership approval — you will get to vote to ratify or reject them — when bargaining concludes.

Your Input Matters

As we get ready for monetary discussions, there is still important work to be done ahead of our upcoming bargaining dates. Your input will play a key role in helping us determine our priorities moving forward.

In the coming weeks, we will email a short survey to all Cavendish members outlining the monetary proposals you have identified. The survey will ask you to rank these items in order of importance. Your feedback will help the Bargaining Committee focus on the issues that matter most to you and ensure your priorities are represented at the bargaining table.
