This Labour Day, join us to give back to our community!
Last year the Calgary & District Labour Council (CDLC) was able to deliver over 2800 lbs. of food donations, plus a pallet of water (donated by Superstore) to The Mustard Seed, $425 to the Women’s Centre in gift cards, and over $12,000.00 in cash donations!! And UFCW Local 401 was a big part of that!
Let’s do even better in 2022!
We call on our Calgary members to collect non-perishable items and drop them off at the collection site in the CDLC parking lot between:
11 AM to 1 PM on Labour Day, Monday, September 5th, 2022
This year we are dividing the donations between the Calgary Food Bank and the Veterans Food Bank.
Volunteers are welcome! If you’re able to help, contact Alex at 403-819-4159.

- Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Macaroni & Cheese, Rice

- Out-of-date food items
- Candy or pop
- Dented or unlabelled cans
- Broken or open packages
- Homemade food
