Telephone town hall on April 19 at 2 p.m.

Special Telephone Town Hall for Food Processing

COVID-19 AND FOOD PROCESSING, PACKAGING, AND MANUFACTURING SECTOR

UFCW Local 401 food processing, packaging, and manufacturing sector workers are all invited and encouraged to join us on a special telephone town hall meeting dedicated to the unique and evolving issues affecting your workplaces and your safety and health at work and in your communities.

WHAT’S THE TELEPHONE TOWN HALL ABOUT?

This Sunday, April 19th at 2 p.m., we will be holding another telephone town hall. This time we will be sharing information that is quickly emerging out of several employers’ failure to protect you and your coworkers during this pandemic. This call will once again be hosted by UFCW Local 401 President, Thomas Hesse, and Secretary-Treasurer, Richelle Stewart. In addition to your elected officers, there will be other special guests.

Just like previous telephone town halls, we will be seeking your input through polling questions, and setting aside time for you to ask your important questions.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

You will receive a phone call on Sunday, April 19, 2020 inviting you to join the 2:00 PM call.

If you miss that call, or if you didn’t get a call from us because we don’t have your current phone number, don’t worry. We have sent all members an email with all the details about how to call in and connect with us.

Please check your email (and junk folder if it’s not in your inbox) for the special invitation for UFCW Local 401 food processing members only.

If you have not received the email, please contact your Union Labour Relations Officer or write to ufcw@ufcw401.ab.ca for call in details and to update your contact details in order to ensure you don’t miss any future emails or texts from your union. Alternatively, you can update your contact information simply by clicking here

Solidarity!
