Online Voting

Online voting will be coordinated by a third party that your union has contracted called Converso. Converso has a good deal of experience facilitating online voting for a variety of organizations and in a variety of electoral processes.

Your union will be providing Converso with a voters list and they will reach out to you with thorough instructions on how to vote online if that is how you wish to participate in the voting process.

Each member will be provided with a unique elector ID and password that must be used together in order to cast a vote online and can only be used once. This information, plus instructions on how to access and navigate the online voting platform, will be delivered to you via email.

Converso recommends that, where possible, you avoid using a Hotmail email address for this process as Hotmail sometimes automatically blocks the emails you need to receive.

The online voting platform will use a tracking system to ensure that voting credentials are only used once. Your union will be cross-referencing in-person voting lists and online voting lists to ensure that each member only has the opportunity to vote once and the integrity of the voting process is maintained.

There will also be a support service available through Converso to assist members who have issues with online voting. Converso will send out comprehensive information about online voting to the email address we have on file for you.
