UFCW Local 401 to Light The Night in Edmonton & Calgary

Light the night is the annual fundraising campaign and walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.

For the 2nd year running, UFCW Local 401 will participate in the Edmonton and Calgary events and volunteer as a team to raise funds for this good cause. Every year, teams of friends, families, and co-workers come together in communities across the country in the Light the Night Walks to bring hope to those who are battling blood cancers, to honour survivors, and to remember those loved ones lost.

UFCW Canada is the largest contributor to Leukemia in Canada with $33.9 million dollars raised last year alone nationally.

This year, UFCW Local 401 has a team in both the Edmonton and Calgary walks. Our union is proud to be a major sponsor of Light the Night and we are always looking for new members to join our team to volunteer on the days of the events and to walk along with us.
