What is WCB, and why should you care?

Find out in our next general membership meeting happening Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 7 PM!

Have you ever been hurt at work?

In many instances, you are entitled to compensation if you are injured on the job. This is referred to as workers’ compensation, and WCB stands for the Workers’ Compensation Board, the agency that determines who gets compensated and by how much.

But getting that compensation isn’t always easy. Making a WCB claim can be complicated, frustrating, and even unfair. That’s where your union comes in.

At UFCW Local 401, we employ three WCB Advocates whose sole job is to help you get the compensation you deserve if you are injured on the job.

Join our next general membership meeting on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 7 PM to find out more about WCB, the Advocates that your union employs, and how they work to put money back in your pocket!

As always, you can join our general membership meeting in two ways.
