We are excited to announce that your bargaining committee has been chosen! Thank you to all members who put their names for consideration. 

Committee members were selected based primarily on regional representation, to ensure that CMS members from across Alberta have a local voice on the committee.

The committee met with union staff on August 25 and 27 to prepare for upcoming negotiations with the employer. We have created a proposal package based on the feedback provided by members through bargaining surveys, at proposal meetings, and via the union representatives.

We will share the full package with members once we have provided it to the employer at meetings scheduled for mid-September.

In the meantime, the bargaining committee will be reaching out to CMS members to introduce themselves and let you know how you can stay informed throughout the bargaining process.
