Red Lobster: An Improved Offer of Settlement

After several negotiating sessions with the employer, and one day of mediation on February 28, 2024, your Union Negotiating Committee has received an improved offer of settlement from the Company for you to vote on.

We wish to thank your coworker on the bargaining committee, Leonard McCool, for his dedication and hard work!

Leonard knew your concerns and what you desired for a new and improved Collective Agreement. Together as a Bargaining Committee, we made sure that the company understood.

From the very beginning of the bargaining process, we argued strongly about the need for improved benefits and wages, taking into consideration the current economic challenges that we all face.

Here are the highlights from bargaining:

  • Up to three (3) days of bereavement leave with pay.
  • No percentage increase to tip pool payout – instead, all tips will be paid at the 2% rate
  • Wage increases for back-of-house employees.
