Ratification Vote Results: McKesson Members Send a Clear Message – NO!

The results are in, and the message from the membership is quite clear: the company’s offer fell short of what you feel you deserve.

Members have overwhelmingly rejected the offer in the ratification vote.

The results were 95% for NO, with an overall turnout of 82% of the total eligible voters.

This result reflects your continued strength and solidarity and that economic improvements are not just a dream, but a firm expectation for your next contract.

With this result, it sends a strong message to the Company in this trying economic time, that workers expectations are high and are not prepared to accept an offer that fails to deliver.

So, what happens next?

A NO vote is far from the end of the process. We will take this mandate back to the bargaining table and push for a better offer from the Company. We are currently reviewing all our options to ensure that we can get back to the table as soon as possible and stronger than ever.

In the meantime, we wanted to thank all the members who participated in the vote. Engagement was high, and feedback was very positive and unified at the voting stations. This was amazing to see, and we hope to see that again for any future votes.

More updates to come soon, please stay tuned.

In solidarity,Your Union
